About Us

Welcome to the Heart of Dixie! We’re located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, but service domestic and international clients across industrial markets.

Dixie hires the best pipe fitters from local unions – Local 372 Plumbers & Steamfitters Union. All of our industrial pipe welding procedures and operators are tested and certified in accordance with ASME Section IX. We hold certifications from the National Board and ASME. We’re also a proud charter member of Pipe Fabrication Institute.

Our founder, Greg Howell, has served as Chairman of the PFI since January of 2019. We’ve supplied critical pipe fabrication on some of the largest U.S. energy-related projects. This included shipping to our EPC and OEM customers’ domestic and international project locations.
