One thing I love about my job is that I have the ability to make a difference. Sometimes that difference is noticed immediately, other times it may take a while before any positive result occurs, but that’s part of it. That’s part of marketing, advertising, communications, public relations or any other creative field – it takes time.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Doug Killough. As of February 2019, I am the Manager of Marketing & Sales at Dixie Mechanical, Inc. Greg brought me on board to help with marketing and sales efforts outside of their previous tactics and approach. The first undertaking: a new website.
I’d like to be the first to welcome you to our new site. By now you’ve probably had some time to look around, learn more about Dixie and you may even have some questions for us. I may be able to answer some of those here, but if not, you can always reach out to us directly from this site.
First of all, I hope you like our new look! We have upgraded our website, redesigned our logo, rolled out new colors, you name it. This is all an effort to give new energy to our clients, employees, partners, and work. That said, our work has not changed. We still offer the same quality and efficient services that you’ve come to know from Dixie Mechanical. We just have a new brand identity – this site being the first big effort, aside from the logo of course. And if you haven’t seen the new logo up close, well… here it is:
Our rebranding effort also serves as a reminder that we are willing and able to adapt to the needs and expectations of you, our clients. We want you to be able to fully trust us with your fabrication needs, and the rebrand is the first step in building your trust.
We have also recently launched our new social media channels. We are now on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. Please follow, like and subscribe to stay up-to-date on different things happening around our shop and in the office. Consider it a behind-the-scenes, inside look at our culture, people, work and life at Dixie Mechanical.
And finally, because I know we are all busy and time is limited, we at Dixie Mechanical just want you to understand that we are using our new brand identity to continue providing the best work for you for many years to come. We know you’re busy with big projects, so trusting us with just a piece of that work means you trust in our welders, fitters, project managers and the full team. You trust us to put our best effort into the work, and we are proud to put the Dixie stamp on each project that leaves our shop. It’s what you expect, it’s what we deliver.
